Tennessee announced Thursday that the Vols will open the 2012 football season in Atlanta against North Carolina State on Friday, August 31 in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game. The game, televised nationally on ESPNU, will be part of a weekend doubleheader at the Georgia Dome with Auburn and Clemson squaring off on Saturday.
