J. Todd Foster resigns as Chattanooga Times Free Press executive editor

After 15 months on the job, J. Todd Foster has resigned as executive editor of the Chattanooga Times Free Press for personal reasons. Foster's resignation comes after week-long speculation that he would soon exit the paper. The Times Free Press' parent company, Little Rock, Ark.,-based WEHCO Media Inc., operates differently than most newspaper companies, according to Paul Smith, president and CEO of WEHCO Newspapers, Inc.
