Country music star Naomi Judd is coming to Chattanooga in March to be the featured celebrity guest at Studio 45, WTCI’s signature fundraising event.

Naomi Judd rose to fame performing with her daughter Wynonna Judd in the award-winning music duo The Judds. Her other daughter is famous actress Ashley Judd. 

Naomi Judd will participate in Studio 45, which includes an intimate gathering and live taping of "The A List with Alison Lebovitz" in front of 200 studio audience members, according to a news release. 

"From humble beginnings as a single mom in a small Kentucky town to her meteoric rise as a country music superstar and American icon, Judd’s incredible lifelong journey is an inspiring story of overcoming the odds through optimism and hard work," according to the news release.

The Judds reached unprecedented success throughout the '80s and '90s, sold 20 million records, scored 15 No. 1 hits and received more than 60 industry awards.

"The A List with Alison Lebovitz" has showcased some of America's fascinating people, from politicians and pop culture icons to authors and astronauts, also according to a news release. 

Now entering its sixth season, the show has included one-on-one interviews with people such as Rebecca Eaton, Jon Meacham, Ken Burns, Judy Woodruff, Pat Summitt, Soledad O’Brien, Alton Brown, Matisyahu, Gwen Ifill and a host of other well-known leaders and legends in their fields. 

The show is presented by Barnett & Company and sponsored by the Hart Gallery and ERMC.

Studio 45 guests and supporters will attend a party with gourmet food and drinks and behind-the-scenes experiences before entering the studio for a live taping of this episode.
