Officials with Chattanooga Presents announced this morning a schedule change for the annual Holiday Starlight Parade through downtown Chattanooga.

The parade has been rescheduled for Sunday, Dec. 15 at 6 p.m.

According to an announcement on the event’s Facebook page, the decision was made because of the potential for inclement weather.

The Holiday Starlight Parade, presented by Volkswagen, travels on Market Street from Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard to East Third Street.

The parade will be broadcast Dec. 22 at 1 p.m. on WRCB-TV Channel 3.
