Looking for something to get into tonight? Maybe a drink or a good time with friends? We've got you covered with a glimpse of things happening around town.

Whiskey Women at Alleia
‘Tis the season for holiday cheer, cozying up to the one you love near a hearth and beautiful women gathering to drink whiskey at an upscale Italian restaurant. The Whiskey Women are a society of like-minded ladies who share a common interest in good conversation and delicious whiskeys. Tonight’s meeting at Alleia is a celebration of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey, with a variety of blends and cocktails to please even the most discerning palate. $20 gets you in the door. Alleia will also be offering a family-style dinner to take place at 8 p.m. Enjoy a delicious three-course meal at the community table for an additional $20. Click here for additional information.

When: 6 p.m.
Where: 25 E. Main St.
How much: $20 for whiskey event, $20 for dinner

Noise Night at Sluggo’s
This is an open mic showcase for people who don’t normally enjoy singer-songwriter open mic showcases. Noise Night is exactly how it sounds. Tony Levi will host a rotating evening of audio uncertainty. Expect strange machines, vocal feedback, field recordings, electronic bleeps and bloops, hisses, hums and distortion. John Mayer cover songs are out of the question, unless you can make them unrecognizable and heavy as hell. Ten-minute time slots will fill up quickly. Show the world (or the crowd at Sluggo’s) why you are the next Kylie Minoise.

When: 10 p.m.
Where: 501 Cherokee Blvd.
How much: Free
