"It looks like science fiction, but it's real," Amazon.com wrote on a Web post Monday that includes a video showing off a new drone delivery service.

The service, Prime Air, has a goal of getting packages into customers' hands in less than 30 minutes using unmanned aerial vehicles, the post said. The service will begin sometime in 2015. A future launch date will depend on new Federal Aviation Administration rules and regulations.
