"Circle Mirror Transformation" preview party
The second show of Theater for the New South’s season will be previewed tonight at Moccasin Bend Brewing Company. Guests will have the opportunity to see several scenes from the comedy and drink fine craft beer. This preview party stirs excitement about the play throughout the community and offers extra funding for the theater company. There will also be a Q&A with the cast. The setting of "Circle Mirror Transformation" is a community center drama class where five people meet every week for acting lessons. Ultimately, each participant learns more about themselves than acting. Through what seem like innocent theater games, the actors reveal their true feelings in both quiet and intense displays. Tacos on Mondays
"I remember when the tacos at Taco Night were 25 cents," you might find yourself saying. Those were the days, friends. Tacos have increased in price in a few years because of the popularity of Taco Night at Amigo in Red Bank. Now, tacos cost 75 cents each, which is still, in my opinion, a steal if you’re into tacos. Relive the glory days of college when you could eat whatever you wanted without worrying about causing too much damage to your system. Drink a margarita for old time’s sake; there are specials on those as well.
When: 5-10 p.m.
Where: 1906 Dayton Blvd.
How much: 75 cent tacos, two for one margaritas, $2.99 32-ounce domestics
