Moonlight Bride at JJ’s Bohemia
Chattanooga’s Moonlight Bride performs at JJ’s Bohemia tonight with Waterfall Walsh and Gorgeous. The band’s blend of "haunted pop" has made them one of the more successful outfits to spring from Chattanooga. Members are Justin Giles, Matt Livingston, Justin Grasham and Dave Maki.

Discover the Dinosaurs
You see just the slightest movement in that plastic cup of water on your desk. The thumping grows louder, and before you realize what’s happening, a T. rex has swallowed you in a single bite. Dinosaurs invade Chattanooga this weekend with Discover the Dinosaurs, a nationally touring exhibition for families. The weekendlong event includes scenes of light, sound, animatronics and motion to teach the history of dinosaurs on our planet. Kids will have an opportunity to complete a scavenger hunt, dig up their own dinosaur and even RIDE an animatronic T. rex or triceratops. Click here for tickets and information.

Halloween and dogs. The combination just makes perfect sense. With that spirit in mind, the folks at DOGood Chattanooga are hosting a party at Whole Foods on Saturday called Barktoberfest. Leashed puppies, costumes (both you and your dog) and sponsors offering prizes and treats to your pup will all be in attendance. DOGood for a Dog Friendly Chattanooga is a dog-friendly group of citizens who work with the community to teach responsible dog guardianship. Click here for more information.

The Communicators at Track 29
Musicians in Chattanooga know how to party, and this is going to be one for the history books. The Communicators is a collective of area musicians with the goal of throwing outrageous parties and covering outstanding albums. The Saturday show at Track 29 will feature performances of "Blood Sugar Sex Majik" by Red Hot Chili Peppers and "Check Your Head" from the Beastie Boys. Click here for more information.

The Haunted Market
Oooohhh it’s scary! As the Chattanooga Market winds into the cooler months, the theme turns darker. This week, the market is haunted with ghouls, but mainly it’s for kids whose parents want a safe place for trick or treating. Fall veggies and fruits are in season, such as squash, pumpkins and delicious apples. A costume parade for all ages will take place at 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m. with prizes. Additionally, a LEGO build, sponsored by Habitat for Humanity of Chattanooga, will offer a chance to show off creativity for a good cause.
