Leaders with Krystal announced today that the restaurant chain will offer 25 cent Krystals on Oct. 24 from 7-11 p.m. in celebration of the chain's 81st anniversary.
Cheese Krystals will cost 30 cents each.
The celebration marks a year of tremendous growth for the company, according to a news release. The company recently announced plans to add 500 stores in the next few years and began a brand campaign launch.
"We’ve spent the last year developing exciting strategies that will allow Krystal’s Southern goodness to be shared with even more consumers," Douglas R. Pendergast, president and CEO of Krystal, said in a prepared statement. "Today, we celebrate everyone who’s made the Krystal brand a great one over our 81 years, as well as all of our loyal fans and guests who’ve been a part of the Krystal story."
The celebration will take place in Krystal restaurants across the Southeast. Guests are limited to six Krystals per customer or car visit.
"Offering Krystals for a quarter is one of our favorite ways to celebrate our guests and the iconic steamy square burger that so many people love," Tom Peterson, vice president and chief marketing officer at Krystal, said in a prepared statement. "We look forward to the celebration and look forward to many more years of sharing Krystal’s Southern goodness."
