Goo Goo Dolls will perform at Track 29 on Dec. 10, according to statement from the venue this morning.
Tickets go on sale Friday, Oct. 18, at 10 a.m. and are $35 in advance.
The popular alternative rock band was last seen in Chattanooga at Riverbend in 2012.

Led by frontman Johnny Rzeznik, Goo Goo Dolls formed in 1985 and skyrocketed to fame in 1995 with the release of “A Boy Named Goo.” The album contained the hit song “Name.”
1998’s “Dizzy Up the Girl” solidified the band’s place in contemporary pop music. Hits like “Iris,” “Slide” and “Black Balloon” were unavoidable on mainstream radio during the time.
Goo Goo Dolls released a new album called “Magnetic” in June of this year.
