Argentinian Wine Dinner
BlueWater Grille and Panoram Imports host an Argentinian Wine Dinner tonight from 6 to 9 p.m. Chef Scott Eiselstein will prepare a multi-course dinner featuring wines from Panoram Imports. Featuring four courses and wine pairings, guests can expect everything from empanadas to matambre, a traditional Argentine stuffed flank steak. A chocotorta will be served for dessert. Tickets are $75. Reservations can be made by calling (423) 266-4200.

Michael Scoggins: A Day in the Life
A public lecture featuring artist Michael Scoggins will take place tonight in UTC’s Fine Arts building. Scoggins is presented as a part of the Diane Marek Visiting Artist series. The exhibition—called “A Day in the Life”—is a comment “on the subjects of military intervention and war, the politics and media spins that wrap around them, and the consumerism and economy that supports and drives them,” according to a release from the gallery. Scoggins will give a lecture in room 365 beginning at 5:30 p.m., followed by a reception.
