Have you ever wished a member of your local media would jump off a building?
Half of your wish is granted tonight at the kick-off party for RiverRocks, a 12-day celebration of of fun and adventure games in Chattanooga.
Local media celebrities and sponsors will participate in a program called Over the Edge. The fundraising/event company provides signature events for nonprofits throughout the world, which feature an opportunity to rappel over the edge of a local building.
The party begins at 5 p.m.
In Chattanooga, participants will be securely harnessed and proceed to slowly rappel off the SunTrust building near Chattanooga’s Center Park. Food trucks, beer and a live DJ will also be present. All proceeds will benefit Boy Scouts of America and RiverRocks.
Jealous? No worries. The general public is invited to participate in Over the Edge events throughout the day on Thursday, Oct. 3. Click here for more details on fundraising and participation.
Over the Edge is just the start of a weekend full of RiverRocks activities.
