Readings will be tight, compelling and entertaining, according to organizers. Wine will be served before and after the readings.
The Fusebox Reading Series is a monthly collaboration of literary miscellany curated by Aubrey Lenahan and Chad Prevost and hosted by arts spaces in Chattanooga.
With a decade of experience in advertising and design agencies throughout the world, Ludwick’s work has been celebrated by the American Institute of Graphic Arts and more. He is supported by the School of Southern Literature, Yale Writers’ Conference and the Lyndhurst Foundation and holds master's degrees in theology and in literature.
The author of 10 books of poems, Jackson has earned a number of awards, including the Order of Freedom Award from the president of Slovenia. His collections include "Resonance," "Half Live: Petrarchan Poems," "Heartwall" and "Richard Jackson: Greatest Hits." His poems have been translated into a dozen languages. He is also a UTNAA Distinguished Professor of English at UTC.
An award-winning author, Baker’s work includes "The Life Plan," "Talismans" and "Into This World." The latter received an Eric Hoffer Award Honorable Mention and was a finalist for Forward's Best Book of the Year Award. Currently, she is a teacher at UTC and is on the faculty of the first international MFA program at City University of Hong Kong and the Yale Writers’ Conference. She is a MakeWork Artist Grant recipient and fiction editor at Drunken Boat.
Raised and educated in Marietta, Daughtridge’s work has been featured in "Necessary Fiction," "Dogzplot," "Curbside Splendor," "The Broken Plate," "Matchbook," "Storychord" and "Loose Change." He created and hosts a monthly reading series in Atlanta called Lostintheletters. He was named one of ArtATL’s 30 Under 30.
