Hamilton County commissioners met for roughly an hour Wednesday morning, but it took them only six minutes to move through their agenda, unanimously approving all items.
Commissioners approved various rezoning ordinances, a water line easement and the adoption of a five-year plan to assist in planning and decision-making for the county's parks and recreational assets. The plan calls for ensuring "the preservation of natural areas that positively impact public health" and provides guidelines on the best practices for seeking grant funding for parks in the future.
The group also recognized various county employees for years of service to the county.
