Planet Fitness partners to raise money for Children's Hospital Foundation
Leaders with Planet Fitness Chattanooga are working with the Children’s Hospital Foundation to raise funds for the Cure Kids Cancer Radiothon.
Through the end of the month, all proceeds from new membership signups will be donated to the cause.
The full amount of every discounted $10 membership signup fee at both Chattanooga locations will benefit the Center for Childhood Cancer and Blood Disorders at T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital.
At the conclusion of the fundraiser, the limited-time discounted signup fee will return to normal price.
"The partnership with Children’s Hospital Foundation was a natural fit, as they utilize their resources to ensure the health and well-being of local youth," Kira Ehly, Planet Fitness Chattanooga franchise owner, said in a prepared statement. "We’re enthused to be located in a town with a national reputation for a strong, active lifestyle mentality and want to help bolster that lasting commitment to health in any way we can."
Planet Fitness Chattanooga franchise co-owners Ehly and Pat Augustin have plans to continue to create community partnerships with organizations that promote healthy lifestyles.
