Looking for something to get into tonight? Maybe a drink or a good time with friends? We've got you covered with a glimpse of things happening around town.
Banjo at Barking Legs
Fans of Irish music and virtuosic instrumentation need to head on over to the Barking Legs Theater tonight. Enda Scahill will perform with We Banjo 3, an Irish bluegrass band and winner of Traditional Album of the Year, as voted by readers of The Irish Times. This show should be a good start to your short workweek.
When: 7:30 p.m.
Where: 1307 Dodds Ave.
How much: $17.50 in advance, $20 at the door
Server Appreciation Night
Located behind City Café, one of Chattanooga’s great treasures of cake and portion sizes, is a tiny bar called The Office. If you are into frills, you may be disappointed with what The Office delivers. The lighting is dark, and sometimes, the performers are amateur at best. But for a cold beer/cocktail and a small crowd, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better locale for your Tuesday night drinking. Tonight is also Server Appreciation Night, which means those in the service industry get special deals on drinks.
When: 7 p.m.-close
Where: 901 Carter St.
How much: $5 pitchers, $2 wells and $1.50 domestics
