Michael Warren and his daughter, Michelle, are a dynamic aerial photography tag team.
As the owner of Rock Creek Aviation, Michael has logged more than 2,000 hours in his helicopter—a Robinson R-44—working a variety of jobs.
"We do rides, birthday parties, private events," he said. "Recently, we took a man on a helicopter ride for his 91st birthday."
Michael has also used his helicopter in music videos, the latest being Tim McGraw’s "Truck Yeah" video shot in Chattanooga.
He also flew around organizers for the upcoming Iron Man triathlon as they scouted Chattanooga as a possible setting for the event.
With the help of his daughter, Rock Creek Aviation is going through some changes. The two have rebranded the company as ChattAviation and are hoping to garner more business both from photography and video.
Michelle, a photographer, is responsible for the above photographs and the company’s social media accounts. Thus far, much of their early success has come via Instagram. However, the business has grown steadily over the past decade.
Her philosophy is simple.
"I always try to capture a moment in time," she said. "That could be a bird flying. I try to capture what I see. Sometimes, my dad will fly to different heights to get the best shot."

Updated @ 10:47 a.m. on 8/29/13 to correct a factual error: Michael Warren flew around organizers for the Iron Man triathlon, not producers for "Iron Man" the movie, as originally reported.
