The National Journal and Atlantic Cities have teamed up again for more coverage of Chattanooga—continuing their weeklong series on the city and its rise.
On Monday, the publications focused on the city as a growing tech hub. Today, they turned their gaze to the Tennessee River and its role in downtown development.
The stories are identical but have different headlines for each publication. The Atlantic's reads "The Secret to Chattanooga's Downtown Revival Was There All Along," while National Journal ran with "Chattanooga's Makeover Secret: A River Runs Through It."
Both pieces feature the Riverfront redevelopment story familiar to locals by now.
"Chattanooga's ability to recognize and capitalize on the Riverfront, arguably its best natural asset, fueled much of its comeback over the last 20 years," it reads.
