The Chattanooga athletics department is holding its “30 Minutes or Less” promotion for football season tickets on Tuesday.
Head coach Russ Huesman, along with members of the Mocs football team, spirit squad and athletics staff will deliver season tickets within 30 minutes of purchase or the order is free. Delivery area includes a five-mile radius of McKenzie Arena that encompasses the UTC Campus and Chattanooga’s downtown, North Shore and Southside areas.
Only season ticket orders made over the phone are eligible for this promotion, and orders must be made between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Tuesday. Call the UTC Ticket Office at 423-266-6627 to take part in the “30 Minutes or Less” special.
Season tickets start at $40 for youth, alumni, faculty and staff. The annual promotion is one of the most popular of the year for football season tickets, and the school's goal is to break single-day sales record of 106 season tickets sold, set in 2010.
UTC is approaching the 2,500 mark for season tickets sold for the fifth year in a row, a trend that started with head coach Russ Huesman’s arrival. As of Monday morning, a total of 2,170 season tickets were purchased for the 2013 campaign.
Chattanooga opens the season on Thursday, Aug. 29, against UT Martin. Kickoff against the Skyhawks is set for 7:30 p.m., and it’s the first of a six-game home schedule for the Mocs. UTC also hosts Austin Peay (Sept. 14), Western Carolina (Oct. 5), Furman (Oct. 12), The Citadel (Oct. 26) and Wofford (Nov. 9) in 2013.
