Former Silverdale pitcher Reid Clements signed a letter of intent to play baseball at Middle Tennessee State University on Monday afternoon at Silverdale Baptist Academy.

Clements, who was instrumental in the Seahawks' run to the 2013 Class A state title game, compiled a 9-0 record as a senior, notching 107 strikeouts in 68 innings while holding opponents to a .120 batting average.
