10 attorneys apply for Juvenile Court judge position

Ten attorneys have applied to replace Suzanne Bailey as Hamilton County Juvenile Court judge. Bailey is stepping down at the end of April.

The applicants are:

—Curtis L. Bowe III

—Lisa Z. Bowman

—John Allen Brooks

—Blair Bennington Cannon

—Robert Davis 

—Christy Robert Jindra

—W. Troy McDougal

—Robert D. Philyaw

—Ron D. Powers

—Rachel M. Wright

The Hamilton County Commission will hold public interviews beginning April 3 at 1 p.m., continuing into April 4 as needed.

The selection is expected to be made on or before April 11.
