One stage, three bands with traces of CCR, the Man in Black, Brooklyn and Jack White
One glance at any of the three bands on the setlist for Rhythm & Brews tonight and you’ll be thinking one thing: hipster invasion. There’s the requisite plaid, skinny jeans, mustaches or other facial hair, square glasses and even a seemingly ironic “Mom” heart tattoo on a bicep. But then you hear Mary Beth Richardson’s deeply electric and soulful voice in a Banditos tune or Clear Plastic Masks’ precision rhythm and lyrics to kick it up and then take a song down slow or Eight Knives’ hooky driving rock, and those hipster connotations really don’t matter.

Bang bang pre-dinner
The halfway-to-the-weekend mark should go out with a toast or perhaps a bang. In addition, the bar is serving up Rum Punch, Raspberry Vodka Collins, vodka and Fresca, and a classic Sidecar with a mango twist.
