Net proceeds from Pink! 2013 totaled more than $325,000.
Memorial Health Care System Foundation and Hamico Foundation presented the eighth annual gala on Feb. 2. The proceeds from this year's event will benefit the expansion of surgical services for breast cancer patients at Memorial.
“We are grateful for the community’s support of this event,” Jennifer Nicely, Memorial Foundation president, said in a prepared statement. “Pink!, a celebration of life for breast cancer patients and survivors, has raised almost $2 million since 2006 to ensure our community has access to the most advanced breast cancer treatments available.”
