On the air with Andy Berke

Chattanooga mayoral candidate Andy Berke spent 45 minutes on WGOW's "FRED the Show" this morning, talking about his goals for being the city's top executive if he is elected to office on March 5.

Berke answered questions regarding recent criticism of his campaign, which suggested he had not offered enough details as to what his agenda for the city would be should he become mayor.

"I disagree," Berke said, beginning his comments. "I disagree with everything that that says. First of all, it is important to talk about goals and vision. The mayor sets the tone and the agenda for the city, including the vision, and so when I think about things, I think I'm supposed to think first at the biggest level, which is what is the vision for the city."

Berke was questioned by radio host Bob Moore and took calls from voters throughout the interview.
