The MacArthur Fellows Program, which distributes grants to individuals with an extraordinary vision and the dedicated strategy to see that vision through, is often fondly referred to as the MacArthur Genius Award. Tonight, one such genius speaks at the Roland Hayes Concert Hall in the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Fine Arts Center as part of the Hunter Lecture Series. Will Allen is an urban farming activist and author whose new book, “The Good Food Revolution,” elaborates on how local food economies can actually bolster communities’ health and financial stability.
