Capt. Jeff Francis of the Chattanooga Police Department passed away Wednesday night from what appears to be a heart attack.
Services for Francis will be held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at Church of the Highlands, formerly Highland Park Baptist.
Francis served the city as a police officer for the past 28 years.
He was also the chaplain for Hamilton County Rescue Services.
Along with being a deacon at Highland Park, he was director of Camp Joy for two years.
The family will receive friends tomorrow from 4 to 8 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home.
