The Tennessee Small Business Development Center and Lattimore, Black, Morgan and Cain PC will present the Strategic Management Learning System Series over the course of 2013.

The series, geared toward entrepreneurs, managers and self-employed professionals, will take place at the TSBDC, located at 100 Cherokee Blvd.
The sessions will be held once a month for the remainder of the year, and all classes will be held from 8:30 until 11:30 a.m. Each session costs $35.
Participants will be able to apply techniques learned through the series to grow their own businesses, as well as build skills using step-by-step instructions, officials said.
Also, real-world case studies will be presented to help others learn from experience.
“In this tough economic environment, it’s more important than ever that entrepreneurs are equipped with an understanding of cash flow management and other key business skills, which is why LBMC is happy to partner with TSBDC in delivering the SMLS Series," Jim Callihan, LBMC partner, said in a prepared statement.
Other partners are the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. Small Business Administration, both of which provide funding for TSBDC. In addition, TSBDC is an entity of Chattanooga State Community College.
