Keeping a stiff upper lip
It is a cruel world that would give audiences the third season of "Downton Abbey" and then close the season a mere seven episodes later. Fans of the British drama will have to subsist on their tote bags and T-shirts featuring characters and clever quips. They can also gather and commiserate with each other—in costume or not, lady’s choice—to watch the finale tonight at The Public Library, courtesy of WTCI.

When: 6 p.m.
Where: 1001 Broad St.

For the turbo lemon pepper
There are many restaurants, bars and other eateries at which one can order up a basket of wings. Many of those aforementioned establishments have a long list of flavors and icons to denote the heat levels expected to sear the customer’s mouth. In making the rounds, however, have you ever come across a turbo temperature or a lemon pepper and double-dipped flavor? Jefferson’s wing night is the chance to check that off your bucket list.

When: Restaurant closes at 10 p.m.
Where: 618 Georgia Ave.
