Leaders with Krystal announced Tuesday afternoon that they are introducing two fish sandwiches for a limited amount of time.

“The idea of Krystal fish is one we have discussed for quite some time and are extremely excited to release to our guests,” Tom Peterson, chief marketing officer for Krystal, said in a prepared statement. “We’re constantly looking for the best-quality food that we can offer at the lowest price possible to our guests. We knew that if we offered a fish sandwich it had to be as unique as the iconic Krystal, and we believe that one taste will prove this sandwich does just that.”

The fast-food chain will offer the Krystal fish sandwich and the fish deluxe.

In a news release, the sandwiches are described as "premium, flaky, Alaskan pollock filet of fish with crunchy panko crust topped with tartar sauce and served on a steamed Krystal bun."

Leaders are offering an introductory price—guests can get two fish sandwiches, a small fry and a small drink for $3.99.

In addition to the new fish offerings, Krystal leaders are still offering a mix-and-match breakfast value meal that comes with a choice of any "on-the-go" breakfast products, which include the Krystal Sunrise, Krystal egg and cheese, sausage biscuit, hashbrowns, coffee or small drink.

The breakfast deal costs $3.

The Krystal fish, fish deluxe and breakfast deal will be offered for a limited time only to restaurants in Mobile, Ala.; Macon and Warner-Robbins, Ga.; and, Chattanooga and Memphis, Tenn.
