Wondering what to do tonight? No need to check your planner—we’ve got your daily post on what’s happening around town.

Movie night on the cheap
It used to be that Chattanooga had more than one movie theater charging less than $10 to see recent releases. Remember Four Squares on Mountain Creek Road? The theater at Regal Hamilton Place is still holding down the fort on the inexpensive way to see box office hits and their less-successful siblings of Hollywood. The bill tonight includes “Hotel Transylvania,” “Playing for Keeps,” “Skyfall,” “Flight” and “Not Fade Away.”

When: Last showtime is at 8 p.m.
Where: 2000 Hamilton Place Blvd.
How much: $5

Buona sera
A good evening in Italy is best spent in the courtyard with a glass of wine and a tray of antipasto bites. Chattanooga may not be Tuscany or Rome, but Macaroni Grill does have half of the equation during happy hour, including pepperoni, Margherita and Italian sausage pizza.

When: 4-7 p.m.
Where: 2271 Gunbarrel Road
How much: Cocktails for $5, wine and beer for $3, and pizza for $5
