The Chattanooga women’s tennis team cruised to a 7-0 win against visiting Belmont at the Hixson Raquet Club on Sunday afternoon, moving the Lady Mocs to 2-0 on the season.
UTC, coming off a 6-1 win over Kennesaw State on Friday, started strong Sunday, capturing the opening point by sweeping the doubles competition.
Freshman Kelsey Coots and Kayla Jones teamed up for an 8-3 win at No. 1, while senior Jenna Nurik and sophomore Kaylene Chadwell also won 8-3 at No. 2. Junior Alexa Flynn and freshman Katie Polk cruised to an 8-4 win at No. 3 to complete the three-match sweep.
