Wondering what to do tonight? No need to check your planner—we’ve got your daily post on what’s happening around town.

Experimenting with theater
Shakespeare didn’t just write for The Globe. Bob Dylan didn’t just play with The Band. Blake Harris, director for Theater for the New South, is likewise not limited to one company. Harris begins a six-night residency at Easy Lemon tonight. The 30-minute program consists of three original, short plays in the tradition of avant-garde theater. Harris’ tenure at the Southside venue runs through Sunday. Each night includes a question-and-answer session following the performances, during which guests are free to enjoy their BYOB stash.
