A City Council candidate forum sponsored by the Chattanooga Tea Party that was scheduled for tonight has been postponed because of the possibility of winter weather, Tea Party President Mark West said.
The forum was scheduled to take place at the Century Banquet Club on Harrison Pike. West said his group hoped to reschedule the event for sometime next week, hopefully in conjunction with the Hamilton County Nightside Pachyderm Club.
West said he expected as many as nine candidates to participate in tonight's forum and hoped the number would increase next week.
Early voting begins Feb. 13.
Municipal elections are March 5.
