This one’s for the girls
Girls Inc. of Chattanooga has long held as its motto the pursuit of building strong, smart and bold girls. In order to reach that goal, it has added a few more adjectives to its mission: healthy, educated and independent. As such, the organization is leading a weekly Wednesday awareness program focused on health-related and social interaction issues for teens at the Tyner Community Center.

As if fettuccine alfredo with shrimp and garlic and beef brasato with orzo wasn’t reason enough, Carrabba’s Italian Grill has another reason to make the trip to the mall. Dinner at the bar features a five for $5 happy hour: five appetizers, including bruschetta, bacon and caramelized onion flatbread, and zucchini fritte, for $5 each.
