The Young Professionals Association of Chattanooga is seeking nominations for the 2013 YP awards.

The awards ceremony is in its sixth year, and the annual YP Awards recognize notable young professionals, as well as businesses and organizations that are young-professional friendly.

The event, which is open to the public, will be held in place of YPAC’s monthly business development luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Feb. 22 at the Doubletree Hotel downtown.

The categories are Young Professional of the Year, YP-Friendly Business of the Year, YP Artist of the Year, YP Entrepreneur of the Year and the YP Civic Impact Award.

Nominations are now open and may be submitted online. Click here to nominate.

YPAC membership is not a prerequisite for nomination. Nominations may be made across multiple categories, but individuals will be eligible for only one YP Award. Nominations will close on Jan. 25.

The top five finalists in each category will be announced Feb. 4.
