Wondering what to do tonight? No need to check your planner—we’ve got your daily post on what’s happening around town.

Dress up Monday
The calendar on Hallmark’s Ultimate Holiday website announced this morning that today is National Dress Up Your Pet Day. If you need an excuse to pull the tutus or the superhero customers out of the closet just to brighten a dreary day, this is your chance. Head to Groomingdale's on Frazier Avenue, PetSmart on Highway 153 or Gunbarrel Road, and Petco on Highway 153 or Gunbarrel Road if your pet is in need of new threads.

FYI: It is also National Hot Pastrami Sandwich Day, so if dressing up the family pet is not in the cards, stop by River Street Deli for one of their signature pastrami sandwiches and share a bite with your best friend.

When: All day
Where: Your house
How much: Check for coupons

“M” is for Monday cocktails
At Bluewater Grille, the menu contains an entire page dedicated to martinis, margaritas and mojitos. There are sparkling varieties; the sweet, sour and savory concoctions; and even the skinny sort: the champagne mojito, the dragon berry martini, the coconut lemon martini, the Patron margarita and the skinny-dip margarita. Schedule a cheat day from that New Year’s resolution diet and enjoy a well-deserved happy hour.

When: 4-7 p.m.
Where: 224 Broad St.
How much: Beer and wines $2 off, cocktails $5 each and appetizer plates for $5 or $7
