Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park will waive the entrance fee to Point Park on Jan. 21 in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Point Park features Civil War history alongside majestic views and is the nation's first national military park.

Officials encourage residents to celebrate King's legacy by spending quality time with loved ones and experiencing the great outdoors at national parks, all of which are waiving fees, including commercial tour entrance fees.
