Lady Bass Anglers Association includes Dayton on 2013 circuit

The Lady Bass Anglers Association has announced the tournament dates and cities that will host the LBAA 2013 Professional Bass Tour Series. The list includes Dayton, Tenn., and Chickamauga Lake, where the women will test their skills July 26-27.

“After a thorough selection process, we are extremely pleased to announce the cities that will host our professional tour stops in 2013. We’ve experienced tremendous growth and interest in the LBAA, and our chosen host cities are fully supportive of the LBAA’s efforts to bring more attention to our competitive, professional and fan-friendly sport,” said LBAA co-founder Secret York.

The LBAA 2013 tour schedule and tournament sites include:
—March 8-9: Neely Henry Lake, Gadsden, Ala.
—May 10-11: Old Hickory Lake, Nashville, Tenn.
—July 26-27: Lake Chickamauga, Dayton, Tenn.
—Sept. 13-14: Red River, Shreveport, La.
—Oct. 17-19: LBAA Classic Tour Series Championship on Lake Ray Hubbard, Garland, Texas




“We look forward to bringing our professional bass fishing tour to these cities, where we can really showcase the best our sport has to offer,” Cheryl Bowden, co-founder of the LBAA, said.

For all tour stops, sports marketing firm Southern Sports Group will manage on-site special event production, media relations and promotion for all LBAA Women’s Pro Bass Tour series activities.

LBAA was founded to promote the outdoor lifestyle and sport of women’s professional bass fishing through its series of tournaments across the South.
