Wondering what to do tonight? No need to check your planner—we’ve got your daily post on what’s happening around town.

Your dark horse moment
The name Dark Horse Ten might sound familiar because the four-piece, straight rock band was one of the acts to provide the soundtrack for Mainx24’s chili cook-off. It could also be because the Chattanooga group has been kicking around for some time, meaning that not only are the band members great musicians, but they have also performed onstage enough and with each other enough to have developed a commanding stage show worth being penned into tonight’s plans.

When: 9:30 p.m.
Where: Rhythm & Brews, located at 221 Market St.
How much: $7

The best of both worlds
Tremont Tavern is known to have a few delicious dark brews on tap to warm the body and soul during the cold weather, but if that doesn’t provide enough enticement, consider this: Every Thursday, the neighborhood bar knocks a draft beer off the check for every burger ordered. Dinner plans simplified—a burger and a beer.

When: 5 p.m.-midnight
Where: 1203 Hixson Pike
How much: Burgers range from $7 to $8.50
