DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Former Chattanooga Baylor star and Alabama All-American Brooke Pancake has put herself in position to claim an LPGA card after four rounds in the LPGA’s qualifying tournament.
Pancake shot 69 on Saturday and is tied for 22nd at 2 under par for the tournament. The top 20 players at the conclusion of the 90-hole event will earn Priority in Category 12. Players finishing in the 21st-45th spots will earn Priority in Category 17. In the event of a tie for 20th place, the 20th position will be determined by a playoff.
All other ties will be broken on the basis of the lowest, most recent round at the Final Qualifying Tournament.
Moriya Jutanugam of Thailand continues to lead the tournament at 15 under par after a 70 on Saturday.
