Earning an acting badge of courage
The Youth Theatre at the Chattanooga Theatre Centre is holding auditions tonight for its production of “The Red Badge of Courage.” The play—based on an 1895 novel by American author Stephen Crane—tells the story of a Civil War soldier whose first experience in battle sees him flee the scene, bear the shame of his cowardice and then return to the field with a new, brave fervor. The 12-plus person cast calls for men and women of all ages.
