Wondering what to do tonight? No need to check your planner—we’ve got your daily post on what’s happening around town.

Gobble, gobble balloons
The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade makes its 86th trip down Central Park West and Sixth Avenue today. The historic holiday event will feature Spider-Man, Hello Kitty and Buzz Lightyear balloons; marching bands; floats; and live performances. Turn the television to NBC, and relish the fact that you are warm and sitting on your couch instead of bundled up for the cold.

When: 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
Where: Your house
How much: Priceless smiles on family faces

Gobble, gobble craft baking
Young children, grandparents, aunts and uncles—everyone on your guest list for today’s dinner will have their particular requests for what goes on their plates, but assembling a miniature turkey from the candy and cookie aisle is too much fun for anyone to turn down. Grab the Oreos, that leftover candy corn from Halloween and some Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, and make your version of the floats in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

When: All day
Where: Your house
How much: Priceless (chocolate) smiles on family faces
