River City Company adds board members, staff 
President of River City Company Kim White announced this week the appointment of two new board members and the addition of a new staff member. 

Ron Harr and Miller Welborn recently accepted board appointments to the River City Company board of directors. And Amy Donahue accepted the position of communication specialist with the company in September.

“Bringing these individuals into the River City Company fold is another step in furthering our vision of making downtown the place in Chattanooga to live, work and play,” White said in a prepared statement. “Their involvement in this vision will be central in the progress and support of downtown Chattanooga.”  

Erlanger executives step down 
Lynn Whisman, Erlanger chief operating officer and chief nursing officer, and Erlanger Health System Foundations President Betsy Chapin Taylor are leaving Erlanger, leaders said.

“I am extremely grateful for Lynn’s work at Erlanger over the past five years,” CEO Charlesetta Woodard-Thompson said in a prepared statement. “Her focus has always been on improving the total experience for the patient and their families, and her contributions to Erlanger over the years are deeply appreciated." 

Thirteen local attorneys recognized 
Thirteen attorneys from Chattanooga-based law firm Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel are included on the 2012 Mid-South Super Lawyers and the 2012 Mid-South Rising Stars lists. 

2012 Mid-South Super Lawyers are William P. Aiken Jr., Max T. Bahner, Bruce C. Bailey, Richard W. Bethea, Timothy M. Gibbons, Anthony A. Jackson, Harold L. North Jr., Alicia Brown Oliver, Dana B. Perry and Michael N. St Charles. 

2012 Mid-South Rising Stars are Tom Greenholtz, Douglas S. Griswold and Michael J. Stewart.

Miller & Martin attorney appointed to international board 
Shelby R. Grubbs has been appointed to the International Business Advisory Board of the University of Alabama Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration.  

Grubbs is a member with Miller & Martin PLLC and has more than 37 years of experience in practicing law in the area of civil litigation and dispute resolution.
