Thompson Engineering recently donated $500 to fund scholarships for students enrolled in engineering technology programs at Chattanooga State Community College.

Thompson Engineering, an advocate of engineering education, regularly supports efforts to increase opportunities for students interested in learning more about the services the firm provides.

Mack McCarly, director of Thompson Engineering's Tennessee operations, presented the gift to the Chattanooga State Foundation.

"We are proud to support Chattanooga State and are committed to serve on the Engineering Technology Division's advisory committees," he said in a prepared statement.
