Mitt Romney doesn't want Rep. Scott DesJarlais' support anymore.

The GOP presidential nominee quietly deleted an endorsement from his campaign website Thursday, as reports of charges that the congressman and physician impregnated one of his former patients and pressured her to have an abortion continued to dominate headlines.

Prior to Tennessee's presidential primary, the freshman congressman announced he would back the former Massachusetts governor for president.

On Thursday evening, a page on Romney's campaign website which touted the congressman's support had disappeared.

The Huffington Post reported the page had been active as recent as Thursday morning.

But soon after the publication inquired with the Romney campaign about the nominee's acceptance of DesJarlais' endorsement, the page became no longer accessible.

Despite the deletion, a post on DesJarlais' campaign website details Romney as being "proud" to accept the congressman's support.
