Local entrepreneurs have less than a month to prepare if they want to enter The Company Lab's next Will This Float? contest on Nov. 15.

The event will coincide with Global Entrepreneur Week and showcase entrepreneurs chosen to pitch their ideas to investors, mentors and others from the business community.

CO.LAB leaders are accepting applications for the pitch night through Oct. 25. Click here for more information on how to apply or about attending the event.

"The CO.LAB is currently accepting applications to find the strongest pitches in a broad cross-section of entrepreneurship in the region, including student entrepreneurs, technology, social entrepreneurship, the local food economy, art and design, and more," according to a CO.LAB news release.

The Thursday night event will be at the Downtown Public Library, where refreshments will be available.
