Leaders of local company Litigator Technology are celebrating their business' one-year anniversary with a promotion of their product JuryStar.
The JuryStar app is regularly $39.99 but for the month of October, it will cost $29.99. The JuryStar Law Student app is discounted to $4.99. It's usually $9.99.
Chattanooga Assistant District Attorney Boyd Patterson founded Litigator Technology last year to create JuryStar, which is an application and online jury consulting program, according to Nooga.com archives.
Traditionally, attorneys bring four paper products to the jury selection process—a hard copy of the questions to ask jurors, a list of the juror demographics, a juror questionnaire and a manila folder with Post-It notes, Patterson told Nooga.com last year.
Each Post-It note represents a seat in the jury box with notes about each juror, Patterson said. His app combines those four pieces into one online format.
In September, leaders updated both apps and the new versions are available at the discounted prices via the iTunes store.
Leaders are also giving away a “Litigation iPad Survival Kit," next month to a litigator, future litigator, paralegal or trial consultant practicing in the United States.
The customized kit is valued at more than $1,800. For more information about how to enter to win, click here.
