Putting the "truck" in "Truck Yeah"

Where's the latest place to spot Chattanooga? The music video for country music star Tim McGraw's single, "Truck Yeah."

Official "Truck Yeah" music video

The video, which premiered on McGraw's Vevo channel early this morning, features shots of lifted trucks kicking up dust at the former site of U.S. Pipe and Foundry. The site spans a length of I-24 as the interstate passes Moccasin Bend.

McGraw visited Chattanooga for two days in late August to film the video. “Truck Yeah” first appeared on the radio on July 3, debuting at No. 22 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. The track is currently ranking at No. 12 on that chart and No. 63 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart.

With references to Lil Wayne and rockin’ like a rock star, “Truck Yeah” is a rowdier version of McGraw’s trademark sound, but with the familiar cowboy hats and, of course, pickup trucks. The single and its video are all country, all hillbilly proud.
