A five run sixth inning sparked by a two-run home run from Brahiam Maldonado propelled the Lookouts to a 6-3 come-from-behind win over the Jacksonville Suns on Wednesday night.

The Suns stranded eight base runners in surrendering an early 3-0 lead.

Lookouts starting pitcher Aaron Miller (3-4) earned the win in a six-inning outing after allowing three earned runs on four hits, while striking out five.

Chattanooga closer Logan Bawcom picked up his third save of the season after loading the bases in a pressure-packed ninth inning.

In addition to Maldonado’s blast, Nick Buss connected on a two-RBI triple to aide the Lookouts’ rally.

Jacksonville starter Jose Alxvarez suffered the loss and fell to 1-2 on the year.

The Chattanooga Lookouts and Jacksonville Suns will continue their five-game series on Thursday at 7:15 p.m.
