Behind six strong innings from starter Shane Dyer, the Montgomery Biscuits topped the Lookouts 6-1 on Tuesday at AT&T Field.

Dyer (4-2) out-dueled Chattanooga starter Nathan Eovaldi (0-2) by allowing one unearned run on four hits before the Biscuits’ bullpen closed out the final three innings. Eovaldi surrendered four earned runs on seven hits through five.

The Biscuits broke a 1-1 tie in the fourth inning on a RBI triple down the right-field line by Mark Thomas. Montgomery tagged on two more runs in both the fifth and sixth innings as the Lookouts struggled through a five-hit night.

Chattanooga’s Jake Lemmerman scored the Lookouts’ lone run on an errant pick-off attempt to third base by Dyer in the third inning.

The Lookouts (14-19) and Biscuits (15-18) will continue their five-game series on Wednesday at 11:15 p.m
